Does anyone have any experience in crossing the Chinese Wall (Bob Marshall Wilderness, MT)via Trick Pass to reach the White River drainage? Most descriptions place the pass near Salt Mountain at the head of Moose Creek and indicate that the trail leading to it is essentially a "goat path". I'm considering a route using the pass in August and would appreciate information on the eastern approach and current condition of the goat path. A good lat/long or description of the pass and where to depart the main trail would really help. Thanks.
