Whats the best waterproof hardshell for under 100.00, I would like pit zips and of course as light as possible. Any opinions would really be appreciated!

Probably the Anti Gravity Gear hooded rain jacket, 4.6 oz, $69.

When not traveling through thick brush, a set of DriDucks (jacket + pants) is around $20. The jacket is 5-7 oz. It's more breathable than anything else under around $200. Bring duct tape for repairs though. :)
The ZPacks Cuben Fiber Rain jacket is waterproof, has pit zips and a full front zipper, 3.9 oz. for the heavier cuben, but is considerably out of your price range at $165.
