Thought I should post this here since it is semi-custom using the extra sturdy cuben CT5K.18 with
the thicker mylar AND the thicker spectra scrim. Gives you an idea about weight.

A customer sent me the fabric to build a CatTarp2.

Tapered from 8 to 5.5 feet wide over its 9 foot length at 10.5 oz it still weighes 1 ounce
less than a silnylon version and is WAY stronger and more waterproof.

One inch taped center seam. Taped reinforcements. Sewn Hem and Tie outs.

This photo shows it stretched out on the ground which emphasizes the chain cut by
showing the tight X across the tarp.

The fabric is a nice mottled olive too.CatTarp2Cuben5x18custom.jpg

Lots of editing, got kinds excited.

here are a couple of new photos of this bad _ _ _ tarp.
One in fair weather mode and one battened down in storm mode. The color is awesome. I hope I dont lose it in the woods.

All seams/hems, ridgeline and tie-outs look great. very happy.
    Thanks David!
