Looks like you did a good job on the sizing of the M-51.
If you didnt notice, the bottom hem can be made to tie around each leg individually to help trap even more heat and keep cold winds out.

I hadn't noticed that. What I did notice is that this thing is like an oven. Even if it is 3.5 lbs., I can't believe how hot I got in moderate weather. Convinces me that it will work in sub-sero temps for emergencies not problem. Can you imagine a ballet with people wearing these with the goggles, like Swan Lake?
