Finished this pack up today for a fellow BPLer. It is smaller volume, similar to the MLD Burn. Same design as my last pack just smaller. Added thicker shoulder strap padding. Lighter draw cord. I purchased too small of a quantity of 3/32 shock cord, so the pictures have thicker cord, but I will replace it. I really like the size of this pack. I will weigh it later today. Seam taped.
12.3 ounces without straps trimmed. I left them very long.
I really like this pack design Michael! I have a GG Gorilla that uses nylon webbing instead of your skunk strip but it's kindof a pain to deal with when not buckled. This seems much cleaner.
Thank you Christopher! I like this design a lot too. I'm building one out of dyneema x right now that should be finished soon. I like that it eliminates an unnecessary seam and disperses the pressure much more.
