I have 10yds of M50 i was planning to make a few personal quilts with, but now that some reviews have come back that it isn't very down/wind/water resistant i don't really want to move forward with my plan. I have one idea on what to do with it but need some more.
Idea 1:
I sleep very hot and in the summer can be hard to sleep all sticky and clammy. If i make a climashield Apex 2.5oz quilt with M50 shell and liner it would be highly breathable which should help on hot nights. I also have a new footbox style to try, the HOT-BOX which has an added option for hot nights. I would use the quilt in conjunction with an m55 or m90 sheet with the HOT-BOX foot box that can be used stand alone when it is very hot and as a quilt cover when it gets cool enough to want more wind resistance. This should weigh only a little more than my Prodigy does now to have both a quilt and a sheet.
I would love your thoughts on my idea and more ideas for M50. (this is just for my personal use at this point, HOT-BOX has potential to be a future update to my products but i need to give it a good test first)
