Maybe this is just new to me, but there seems to be a 5 gram Esbit tablet out there. I was only aware of the 14 gram and the 4 gram versions. For you ULers out there that only boil 1 cup of water, this might be just the ticket to get your water a little warmer. Best
Not clear what you are getting from the website. Description still says they are 14g tablets. But specs and photo indicate 5g tabs. Some will will need to call or order to find out.
Although photo indicates that 5g tabs exist, which is interesting, regardless.
Maybe it is a web transition issue? This is what I see when I click on the link:
They are available on Amazon as well.
Here is the product page from the manufacturer
available on amazon.
Ooh nice! Also in the same packaging as the 14g tabs. I’ve only been able to find the 4g tabs in carboard with no other packaging. Not the end of the world, but that 14g packaging is rather nice and clean and light and easy to use without worry.
Wonder if they’ll stink like the larger ones. Nice plus with the 4g.
available on amazon.

Whoa, $12.74 for 16 tabs… 80¢ per 5g tab!!
Much cheaper direct from the mfgr, although shipping might kill it. :^/
14 gram tablets burn approximately 12 minutes and are best for cooking meals, boiling water, or starting fires. 4 gram tablets burn for 5 minutes and 5 gram tablets burn for 7 minutes. Both are ideal for hobby applications such as steam-launch boats and hobby trains. 5 gram tablets are perfect for use with the Esbit coffee maker.
Whoa, $12.74 for 16 tabs..
Ha! Retailer linked to in the OP may be charging only $5.99 for one box, but with the shipping charge it balloons to $13.55 :) Shipping for 10 boxes is $33.18 !!!
