I think I finally have my perfect coffee making process.

I had been using these coffee pour though things from Anti Gravity Gear
AGG

I didn't think they were strong enough so would add two to one to make a cup of coffee. I never really like the via stuff.

I stumbled across small coffee filter. I did not realize they made them so small.

So when I saw the small filters it dawned on me that all I needed to do was make a filter holder.

I had some Ti foil and got to work cutting. Here is what I came up with

Packed up with about 6 filters
packed

Open and ready for coffee
on cup

It weighs nothing on my postal scale (non-digital) with the 6 filters and the 3 clips.

I made a cup at home and was nice and strong. I can get about 3 or 4 tablespoons of coffee in there filter

You can find in some shops and online those same tiny coffee filters that come prepunched on top with holes and a plastic chopstick that goes through, across your mug. You don't need a support besides it due to the small volume. We sold them for years when I ran an espresso shop.

I've used the AGG coffee filters but I like this idea even better. Thanks for sharing, I know what I'm working on tonight.

Great idea.

I use fillable tea bags for my home ground coffee of 4/5 decaf and 1/5 caffinated mixture. Works great. I scatter the used grounds & put the empty tea bags in my trash bag.

But I DO like the VIA coffee sometimes and the similar tubes of Taster's Choice instant is good for a change-of-pace.

The big advantage yours has is that sits above the rim of the cup. These sit mostly down in the cup, so you have to lift them up when the coffee gets to the bottom of them.
