Hi,

I love my VFF KSO but I don't like to use them for long hikes as I don't like picking flowers with my toes, the dirt seeping in somehow in them and the fact that I can't wear normal socks in them.

So I've checked out a few options but settled on Merrell's Trail Glove. I like that they're "one toe"-shoe and the fit is superb but ground contact is much much less through the thicker sole than my VFF's. I even like to wear my mizuno wave universe 3, but they're too fragile for bush-waking. What to do?

Is there a "one-toe"-VFF KSO out there?

you may want to check out these

maybe one of the html gurus can post up a link. they get good reviews. probably the closest to VFFs out there with "one toe". I have never worn or seen these so I can't say much.

these vivo barefoot get great reviews. I have seen these and tried them on. I didn't buy them because they are expensive and i alreaady have a few VFFs. but the quality is great as is the room and feel of being barefoot.

Love them, pure and simple. I do believe that they are lighter than the KSOs too. I can't say enough good things about the nice wide toe box and my foot locks into them without even being tightly squeezed.
