This seems like a pretty cool option for water treatment. Apparently filters or kills all microbes, is light weight, and cheap. Pair it with a gatorade bottle and you have instant clean water while on the trail. No wait time or batteries, seems like a dream come true! http://store.seychelle.com/product.cgi?group=25&product=102, What do you guys think?

Pretty intriguing, but a bit heavier than the Sayer inline filter that I am using at 2.0 to 2.5 oz.
On the plus side, the Seychelle might have some sort of carbon element in it if it is neutralizing chemicals, which the Sawyer does not.
The filter size 99.999% might be an issue….who many microns does it filter down to? What is the pore size.
Filter's viruses??? Hummm…..think that it would need to filter 99.9999999%.
How easily can it be back flushed in the field is one of the things I would like to know too.
Either way, it looks intriguing, but I would like more info.
