Hi,
I was wondering if anybody knows where to find an adapter to convert a cp250 butane gas can to the conventional threaded type used on backpacking stoves.
Here's an example

I have searched all over the internet for a place to buy the adapter but was unsuccessful.

From what I understand you must have your stove connected to the adaptor then you attach the gas cylinder.

I noticed that you mentioned in another forum as having the JetBoil .
As made clear in the blog you linked to, you would also need a remote canister adaptor to avoid stability issues.
At this point you should consider the cost and bulk of the added adaptors to figure out if the cost savings are worthy or not.
If you already had a remote canister stove , then it could have worked.
