Just finished off my second pack, well apart from a few finishing touches. I've used 1/2 inch webbing throughout apart from the waistbelt. Handling the ladderlocks and clips for the webbing has got me wondering just how durable they are. What are other peoples experience with smaller webbing and hardware?

I use 1/2 inch webbing and ladderlock for my tent stake tie-outs

Really yank on them

No sign of wearing out

the 3/4" "watch buckles" i used a few years ago for pack understraps (similar to those i've seen in pics on many company's sites) are crap. The adjuster part breaks on me with a little tossing and turning. I like those buckles but the ladder-lock part breaks too easy.
