Interesting. He has some old Gaz 206 canisters… he could probably get some decent prices on eBay. What are pretty much impossible to find these days are the old Gaz 106 canisters, which fit the old Globe Trotter stoves and lanterns.
The Globe Trotter kit weighs 13 oz and includes stove, two small pots and a handle. They also made a small lantern. Here are some pictures. I have two of these and use them once every couple of years for old times sake :)
Gaz 106 cartridges. Net weight 90 grams. In the 80's they cost around $2.00 each. Compare today with a 113 gram MSR canister for around $5.
