8 Days of Wrath on the Cape Wrath Trail

This was an awesome trip report on a destination I'd love to visit. I don't know how I missed it the first time. Bailing must have been a painful decision, though clearly the right one at the time.

Great summary!  I cannot manage enough time off to do the entire CWT — Heading NOBO, where would you suggest I terminate for a 9-11 day trek?  (or if there is a guidbook that addresses this, please point me in that direction).

It’s probably worth asking on Trek-lite, a UK based forum. Plenty of Cape Wrath threads to read through, too.

Kinlochewe and Ullapool are good endpoints for NOBO Cape Wrath section hikes, as both have conveniences and are on easy bus routes back to Inverness.
