So I've Nikwaxed my shell, pants, and tent several times in my life. Each time it ends up costing me about $60 in Nikwax, and the end result is better, but far from perfect.
The tech wash doesnt seem to get out dirt very well, and the wash in waterproofing and spray work, but not to the degree where the water beads up and rolls off like they were new.
Has anyone tested all the waterproof treatment brands side by side? I'm reading in some places that scotchgard works better?
By the way, I seriously love this forum. Even with 26 trips under my belt, I'm still learning a ton of new things from you guys.
