Just got back from an awesome trip rim to river. To be honest, I wasn’t amped to go to the desert to hike 30+ miles, but it was the Grand Canyon, for God-sake. Strapped on several liters of water and off I go with a couple of buddies.
So happy I did. Probably some of the best colors I have seen in the backcountry and some crazy weather. A true adventure! I uploaded a few pics below, but have a whole lot more at the link below.
Highly recommend this trip if you are an experienced backpacker! Bring water, though.
