How do you read your PM's? On most forums I've used it is under your account info, and there is a mailbox for your PM's. On the BPL forums I cannot figure out how to read my PM's. (recently received a PM)

PMs are not saved where you can access them.
You'll get an email from BPL telling you that you've received a PM and a link to it. SAVE THAT LINK or there's no way to get back to the PM later.
If you reply that you want to keep, make a copy and email it to yourself using your email software, not the forum's PM function.
