Hello,
I just got my sewing machine and i am going to start with a basic nylon ground sheet.
What technique should I use to put a neat ‘hem’ on the edge of the fabric?
A lot of techniques described in sewing books demand ‘ironing’ the hem flat and then sewing, but I would imagine that nylon cannot be ironed as it would melt.
Can anyone offer any advise please?
Thanks!
