I have an extra Half Dome Cable Permit @ (Yosemite) for August 24th (two people). Does anyone know what I can do with this? I got one online and the girlfriend got one on the phone. I think they sold out in 4 minutes. If I give it back to the park they won't give me a refund.

I had to sell a permit for the enchantments in Washington last year and I did it in one day.
National Park Service frowns upon "selling" these popular permits (i.e. basically anything in Yosemite, though other permits have been targeted). They're investigating ways to crack down on this.
You didn't buy a permit, so there's nothing to refund. The permit is free. You paid to make the reservation. Pass it on to a friend or inform Yosemite that you won't be needing it so someone else can enjoy the opportunity to hike up Half dome.
