I just got in on the deal for nice remote canister stoves (look like MSR Windpro knock-offs). These stoves have a pre-heat tube allowing them to be used with an inverted fuel canister in cold conditions. What's the lightest solution for safely holding an inverted canister? My first thought was just to use whatever rocks/twigs happen to be nearby, but if y'all have better solutions, I'm all ears.

Thanks,
Ken

Roger Caffin has written several articles on inverted canister stoves. If you're a member go to "Articles" and scroll down to "Canister Stoves".

Rocks, shoes, snow all work fine for supporting an inverted canister (with zero additional weight)
