Did the forums lose a lot of the old posts when BPL went down last weekend, or did you just clean out some older ones?

Any particular posts gone that you noticed?

Hmmmm. A few here and there, but I could be wrong.

I received a report from our web host that no data was lost during our recent outtage.

Well, I posted the meaning of life in Chaff and it is no longer there.

Can't believe you missed that, Doug.

No worries, I'll just post it here for those who are looking:

    "42"

A classic series of books, with the first being the best! Movie wasn't all that, but the book remains one of my all time favorites! It was a pretty cool computer text adventure as well!

    Does everyone have a towel?

No, but I do have a tRowel. Given my recent read of Mike C!'s new book, however, I believe it's titanium glare will be leaving me.

I conveniently forgot my titanium trowel on about the third day of a 2007 thru-hike. Have never looked back since.

Sam is a hoopy frood who really knows where his towel is (be sure to carry it around on the 25th–that's the big day, you know). But he's probably not sure where his trowel went.
