Just received my new MLD Spirit 45 quilt with climashield apex insulation.
This is my first synthetic quilt (first quilt of any kind) and I was wondering if leaving in its not too tight stuffsack damages the climashield or if I should store it in a loft bag for longivity.

Synthetics should be stored as loose as possible as they do not handle the compression nearly as well as down. I would store it in the larger bag or even lay it out if you have the space.
Climashield is probably the most resistant to loss of loft of all the premier synthetic insulations.
That said I'd lay it under your bed for max loft retention in storage. Cover it with a sheet to keep out dust and dust mites.
I would stick it in a laundry bag or pillow case to hang in the closet.
Thanks for the help.
I have 5 dogs and under the beds get gnarly with doghair very quickly. I will probably hang it up in a loft bag like I do my down stuff.
The stuff sack that came with it is not real tight. I like that. The quilt actually came in almost 4oz under what Ron had it listed at. I like that too. 441gr/15.5 oz for the XL SIZE.
