i know some of you have thru hiked the pct, which i will be doing this season. i was wondering… i usually pitch my tarp off of a tree or use found sticks to pitch my tarp, however i am worried that there will be neither of these on the first parts of the trail. i dont use hiking poles so thats out, but any info would be great. if i do need poles for part of the trail, what parts?
