I am thinking about replacing my SP 700 with:

Evernew Titanium Ultralight Deep Pot .9L (ECA265)
OR
Evernew Titanium Ultralight .9L Pot (ECA252)

I will be buying one of caldera ti-tri models and I need to figure out my cookware situation. The deep pot has the frying pan lid which is nice in theory but I wonder how much use I would get out of something so small. If that lid is deemed inadequate then the regular .9L pot seems perfect. The thing is I have no complaints about my SP 700 I was just thinking of getting a slightly bigger pot.

I did the very same thing, bought the 700 and then couldn't find a alcohol stove to work with it. I ended up selling it and bought the MSR Titan and use Zelphs Cobalt Soloist for my stove. Think larger diameter for better efficiency.

I really like the 900 ml evernew mug pot (ECA 267). Best news is it actually weighs less than the SP 700.

I'm partial to the Evernew Pasta Pot ECA522. It's a smidge bigger than the deep pot at 4.65 vs 4.33 and holds 2 oz more.

I typically try to stay out of opinion based conversations, but there's an objective consideration that should be pointed out here…..that is the 252 Evernew will store the Sidewinder Ti-Tri cone in the pot…..while the taller evernew pot will not.

I now return you to the discussion

Rand :-)
