Does anyone have experience with the Pacific Outdoor Equipment Insul-Mat 3 season uber-lite or 4 season uber-mountain self-inflation sleeping mats? What has been your experience, likes & dislikes?

The 3 season 8 oz. uber-lite appears to be a good alternative to the BMW TorsoLite. I wonder if the central location of the fill valve can be felt while sleeping?

The 4 season 13 oz. uber-mountain appears to be a good winter piece.

I am looking for an alternative to my Therma-Rest Z lite with a higher insulation/r value for winter use.

Please share your thoughts.

I have the uberlight. I like it and do not mind the valve placement. Between sliding down the mat and using a stuff sack/clothes pillow I haven’t ever been annoyed by it. The uber mountain looks interesting but I think I’ll stick with just adding CCF on top. Compared to my usual blue torso pad the uberlight is luxury!

If you want to buy it I will sell it to you for next to nothing.

Ken,

I would be interested. What is it’s condition? Price?

Thanks

Mark
