Were a group of 5 planning a 3 day for Memorial day weekend.. Friday-Sunday/Monday (whichever time/stops permit)
As far as the Lost Coast, I have never been but they have.. and none of us have been to the Big Sur..
Looking at the hiking trails, websites and other guides it looks like the big sur would be the choice but I'm/we're just not yet convinced.
WHAT WOULD YOU RECCOMMEND? START/END WHERE? WHAT WOULD YOU SEE? WATERFALLS!!
Sykes is always a great hike in Big Sur. You can do a bunch of hikes starting East and head West towards the ocean. Their are many hiking books on Big Sur. The trails tend to be little overgrown.
