The Vango Banshee 200 from the UK looks a lot like a Coleman Cobra. It's not clear whether the interior is all netting or not. It would be a nice tent if made in UL materials and the pole at the foot was eliminated or simplified.

I need one of you fabric experts to help me decide between the Skyscape Scout and Trekker. How durable is the "190T" fabric that the Scout is made of compared to the silnylon of the Trekker? How about water resistance? Will the Scout hold up without a groundcloth (thereby narrowing the weight difference)? Are there any other advantages or disadvantages of the 190T fabric that I should consider?

Has anyone heard anything regarding possible ship dates? July seems to be the answer thus far. I was just curious if anyone who has pre-ordered has been charged yet or knows of a ship date.

I believe that they are holding firm for the 13th of July. I tried to go ahead and make my payment last week when I placed another order with them and they said that they were not processing an of the payments until they shipped.

looks like the netting is partial as with most of the smaller vangos the upper part is not mesh

As far as simplifying the end pole arrangement, that is pretty much what a vango helium 200 is
