I was at DSW the other day just checking out they're selection, and I walked past some Merrel's that caught my eye. They were called the Chameleon 2 Stretch. I had to try them on to see how they felt, and when I did my feet celebrated! They felt amazing, and seemed like a great shoe. I've been looking online as well, and they seem to get great remarks. I was just wondering if anyone of you on here use these, or know anything about them. I think I'm getting them, but wanted to check with all of you. I'm going to be using them for work because my new job requires a lot of standing on hard floors. But I figured they would be great for hikes too, so I could kinda kill 2 birds with one stone on this.

I have 2 pair of the chameleon 2's and I love them! I wear one on the trail and the other pair all the time. I haven't tried the 3's, but I will…

Nice!!

The news ones look different, and I also hear that people like the 2's better. I might have to snag these before they're all gone!! Anyone else?

If you can afford it, buy two pair- one as your daily pair and one for trail use. Especially if you're the type of person who prefers cushion or relies on your feet feeling secure when hiking.

Tried them on in the store, but not used them. Way too tight for my duck feet- the only Merrell that fits me in regular width is the Moab.

They seemed like a pretty wide shoe, surprised they felt so tight on you. Initially thats what caught my eye was the bulky yet streamlined look.

I wish I could buy two pairs…But what I think I'm gonna do is use this pair for mostly work. I'll use them on the trail too for now, and as long as they remain comfy pair number two will come.h

If you're fortunate enough to find a pair of chameleon 2 shoes GRAB THEM! I've had mine for 4 years now and have probably logged a thousand miles in them. Bummer that they're getting pretty beat now because the chameleon 3s do not compare. In fact, nothing I've tried yet compares…..and I've been looking for weeks now. Unfortunately, the 2s are discontinued and have become impossible to find. I don't know where you saw them but hopefully by now you've already gone and bought a pair. My feet are so in love with these shoes that I've traveled up to a hundred miles to try and find another pair to no avail…..I've yet to find a shoe that touches them for out of the box comfort.

I had a pair of MC 2 Stretch and wore them out they were so good. I made the mistake of buying the MC 3 Stretch in the last year and knew soon after I had made a mistake! The toe box is smaller/flatter (9.5M) and the worst issue is that they took out the padding around the lip around the ankle compared the the MC 2 Stretch. I blistered my first day out. I immediately chased down three pair of MC 2 Stretch and the MC 3 Stretch pair are sitting over on my fireplace hearth after one days wear.
