Backcountrygear says that this pot has a tent weight of 8 ounces.
I really wonder what that means.

Apr 7, 2011 at 4:19 pm #1721649Bob, I can confirm the weight. I've used mine as a shelter on occasion. It's truly freestanding and I have not experienced any misting.

4.25 oz. for the pot
2.2 oz. for the stock lid
1 oz for the lifter.
The rest is probably the stuff sack, but I don't use it.I use a foil lid @ .2 oz. and a .1 oz. cuben sack from Zpacks.com, so my total is 4.55 oz.
It is a fine snow melting and group pot.
