I was browsing for a windbreaker for the summer season and stumbled upon these clearance jackets at Walmart, online.

For $10.00 plus $0.97 for shipping (Fedex to the house) it was tough to pass up.
They are 100% polyester with a mess lining.
A bit heavy, at 20.5 oz., so it may be better suited for car camping or romping around town. Give it a look.

Try cutting out the lining. How much would it weigh then?
You might find something for a quarter that amount that in a thrift shop, that might be lighter. Just remove the lining, wash it and add a DWR treatment.
