Hey Everyone,

I want to let you guys know about a new product I am going to start offering. Its a 3/32″ (2.38mm) solid braid cord that’s suitable for all sorts of backcountry applications including bear bagging, tent guy lines, tarp ridge lines, and anything else you can can think of. The cord is made with a high tenacity uv reistant Marigold Yellow Nylon jacket and uses two 3M reflective tracers and has a solid Dyneema core which gives it a break strength of 225lbs. Weight: 1.40oz per 50 feet. Works with LineLoc 3’s but due to the cord being a bit small they should be backed up with a slippery half hitch.

For more details please check out my website. Mountainfitter.com

Thanks,
Lawson

This appears to be similar to Kelty Triptease cord. Can you tell us how this is superior or different?

Yours is less expensive, and it is slightly heavier.

This cord is really nothing like Kelty Triptease besides it being reflective. It comes in more colors, more length's, is stronger, and is made in the USA.

I think most people would probably just buy that Dyneema cord you stock. Its bright orange, weighs less than the reflective stuff, and has 5 times the breaking strength.

It's not just about breaking strength. I don't like the urethane-coated line.

Here is a comparison of lightweight lines:

Great. Let's go get about two or three guys to hang off one of those and see when it breaks.
