It appears that climbing legend Todd Skinner has died from a fall in Yosemite probably caused by a failed harness.
As this story unfolds perhaps the only fitting memorial would be to double check our equipment and chuck the worn,frayed,bent,sticky,discolored stuff.
His partner mentioned he had new harness[es] on order, that sounds like about half of us here.
