Decathalon sports is going out of business and this is up for $30…checked it out, frame is solid and could take some work to remove to reduce the weight…otherwise, don’t know anything about the company.

1. What will happen if you remove the frame? Chances are the hip belt will not function properly without the “frame”.
2. It isn’t water repellent? That could be a problem.
3. Decathalon. Never heard of them.
4. You got $30 to burn on an experiment? If you sew at all and the pack is reasonably useful or adaptable you could do a lot with it, maybe.
