Gonna bring back this thread as I have a similar but more specific glove comparison question. I'm going to be doing some hiking in Vermont and New Hampshire in a couple of days (which limits my options to stores I can find around here) and need to get some decent but cheap gloves. I like wool and plan to stick with it if possible, probably a pair of liners that have grip so I can wear them alone. Outdoor Gear Exchange has Black Diamond WoolWeight gloves (as linked by someone else in this thread) for $20.00, but I can't find much in the way of reviews of these gloves. I'm also looking at the Ibex Knitty Gritty gloves, which might be more durable in their simplicity but less warm/wind resistant. Does anyone have any experience with either or both of these gloves or have another recommendation. The Gear Exchange also has the OR PL 400s that others discussed in this thread, but I read some reports that the silicone grip doesn't last very long. It's also synthetic…

Any ideas?? Thanks!
