Petzl e+lite

It appears that every site that lists the Petzl e+lite says “limited availablity NOVEMBER!”

According to my source, a Petzl dealer, some Petzl dealers may not be getting any from the first NA shipment. I’ve already put in my request should my dealer obtain any. If i do happen to obtain one, i’ll post in the Forums about it and/or do a Review of it.

When someone finally gets ahold of one of these would you mind testing the ball joint? This seems like a weak point in the design. I can see the light swiveling on its own or even coming off the joint entirely. Hopefully not, maybe others will have a better idea about this.

I had one from August until last month. I used it alot for reading in bed, and did not have any problems with the ball joint. It was not possible to separate the joint easily — i tried– and it did not swivel on its own.
