Lavawool?

I’ve used both the lava wool skull cap and gloves and would classify them as late fall/early spring items. Good under a bike helmet or ski helmet for cool weather, same with the gloves, but not deep winter fare. I would say the smartwool liner or ibex liner gloves [or possum down…military surplus…Aunt Matilda’s knitted ones] work better.
