Hi, first time posting anything but i have been lurking for a while. I have been looking at MYOG's for ideas on making my on gravity water filter. I really liked the water proof stuff sack idea so i did some poking around in search of an inline filter, and this is what i came up with
both of these items are for sale at Walmart and 46 dollars it is the cheapest gravity filter i have seen so far, and one stop shopping is always a plusMar 23, 2011 at 1:08 pm #1713523I bought the same filter. It works great. I didn't use a stuff sack and from what I've been reading in the myog forum, you may experience leaks with it. If that happens, you can always get a platy. That's what I use.
