Thanks for the comma separated value (CSV) trick. Very useful.

You didn't share where or how you plan to use this list, making it pretty hard to offer any insights.

I started a thread titled:
Suggested GEAR LIST ETIQUETTE

I started this thread because there are some key points that really help when you post a gear list.

Paracord (50-60ft),3.0,85

There are lighter options, from BPL.

A mini-bic is 0.4 oz.

Thanks all for the replies & insight. I plan to use this in the Los Padres National Forest-San Raphael Wilderness (CA). Trip is set for end of March. I do have a lot of stuff sacks! I like to be organized. The mesh bag is for food storage/bear bagging. The compression sack is for clothes and a necessity to get it to fit. I do plan to trim down a little eventually. Baby steps. I tend to go with a few people so the water filter is convenient, I do take drops if someone else has a filter.

I used the "Gram Weenie" app it exports in a spreadsheet friendly format. Not a bad app for .99. Stay away from it unless you want to spend a few hours tweaking on your gear list though.
