Anyone out there have any “real world” pictures of the Hex3 in sage? Im curious as to how natural/neutral the color is.

Click on “Gallery” for some pictures.

I have a Golite poncho tarp in sage color and it pretty much matches the pictures.

It’s a fairly dark green, almost the same as the green in hilleberg tents.

I have a green hex. Not sure if it is “sage” or an earlier generation green color.

you can see the picts here:

Just to chime in, I believe the darker green on the BPLUK website is the current color. It matched my GoLite Lair. Wade’s bright and cheery green came from earlier years, I think.

What a coincidence, I just setup my tent in the backyard last night. Here is one craptacular photo:Sage Hex3

edit: LOL. The tent is green, but it looks like my cell phone camera is showing it as blue.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a picture of it but it is a very dark green. It would hide very well in the shadows of a forest but somewhat stand out on light, pale green grasses or shrubs in bright sunlight.

Funny, I don’t take pictures when camped; only of pretty scenery on the trail. Hmmm.

Hideaki! Your tent is pitched in exactly the same location I camped on this summer! That’s Torisawa campsite, no? Really nice place…

    Hi Miguel-sann,

It’s Tokuzawa-enn campsite in Kamikochi. It’s very beautiful and peaceful place! I like this campsite. When I took these pictures, I visited there with my daughters.
    It was June 2005.
