I have read in BPL and multiple other sources that, “Wool is the most technical material you can use for underwear today. Wool will keep you dryer as it absorbs 10 times more water than synthetics. This is very important under a diffusion shell garment, as the transport of moisture through the shell is always to slow to keep up with transpiration.”
I have found that with the excellent (dry pore) breathability of eVENT it is not necessary to have a large moisture buffer in the base layer.
Has anyone else experienced this?

I found overheating still overwhelms eVent.
