Hard to believe, but mine in a Large/Tall came in at 21 ounces. Must be lined with lead.
anyone know the fill weight of this jacket? I was asking it and they keep saying the fill weight is 750 cubic inch per sq yard…. :-s
Ha! My $20 Cabelas jacket only weighs 17oz in size M! It's quite warm, too. Kept me warm ~20F the other night.
A buddy of mine stopped in a Cabela's and said that the vest in medium weighed 12oz of anybody was interested
I have the vest in a size L and it weighs 11.2 oz on my postal scale. The size L jacket is in the 20 oz ballpark.
I went ahead and picked up a medium tall jacket. At $50 it's a pretty safe gamble, even if it's "superlight" only in name. The first ascent downlight jackets aren't available in medium tall anymore, so hopefully this Cabela's jacket will do.
Yikes, 12 ounces for a medium vest. Thanks for the warning.
