I divided my closed cell sit pad into two pieces so I could use it as kneepads when crawling around on the ground. I like two pieces so I can crawl by moving one pad at a time.
I also added adhesive backed insignia cloth to one side to prevent needles and small sticks from penetrating the foam.
I then added pockets and a heel strap so I couild use them as camp slippers. These weigh about 1 ounce each.
