    @retiredjerry

    Locale: Oregon and Washington

    I got some Primaloft from BPL but Addie doesn't know whether it's "One" or "Sport" or what…

    I weighed it – 3 oz/yd2 (23 1/8 oz for 62" x 160" = 7.6 yd2)

    Loft is about 3/4 inch

    I know Styrofoam is R = 2.9 for 3/4 inch and one clo = 1 R

    Assuming same as Syrofoam (not that good an assumption) 2.9 clo / 3 oz / 1 yd2 = 0.96 clo/oz/yd2

    primaloft.com says "One" is 0.92 clo/oz/yd2, "Sport" is 0.79 clo/oz/yd2, couple other ones are less

    I must have Primaloft One?

    Just looking at it it looks like just filaments, no binder, which again is "One"

    If it's Primaloft One, do I need to quilt it for a sleeping bag? How far apart?

    Anyone have any opinion about this?

    Thanks
