Just wondering, has anyone used these? I was thinking these might be good for around camp and crossing streams. Just wondering

Those look awesome! For where the areas I hike in PA and the Adirondacks, I frequently cross rocky streams. It's sometimes a pain to do barefoot (I don't like soaking my shoes, so I usually take them off if it's gonna be a ford), and if these are light enough, they really fit the bill!
Bought a pair this past summer. Used them as camp shoes at Philmont (11 days on trail), loved them. Haven't tried them for stream crossings (trails I most often hike have these new fangled structures called bridges, he-he).
I'll try to remember to pack them when I come to Henry Coe.
edit: Roleigh Martin, who put me on to these has used them just as you intend on a couple JMT hikes
Nice! I am going to be buying a pair! Most of the time on stream crossings I just wade in, but evey now and then, it is a little more of a wade per se….Around camp I would like to take my shoes off and just relax a bit. Jim that would be cool if you bring them to Coe!
Brand? price?
if the sole is tough enough to stop a fishhook/sharp rock, im in.
Fishing hooks shouldn't be forgotten as a concern with water crossings. From the picture, you can see a seam on the bottom of the foot, but from what I can tell, it looks like the same material on the bottom of that sock.. shoe.. whatever.
Doesn't look like a sole at all?
sorry guys. I should have provided a link and more photos. The bottom of these "socks" look to be different material. This is more to do with lounging around camp than stream crossing. This is made for boating and walking on sand. They cost $19.99

If I'm not going to be doing deep portages, I carry Tyvek cleanroom shoes. They weigh a couple ounces total.
If I think I'll need something for fording streams, I bring short thin NRS neoprene socks. They're a few ounces heavier than the cleanroom shoes.
I don't remember the weight exactly, but I think they are lighter than the sand socks, but have less protection.
