I received three of these as ordered with my Jet-ti stove. My first experience is not good. I made a Lipton dinner in one inside a closed cell envelope which I’d made from an old sleeping pad. I put the food in, the water next, zipped it up, put it in the cozy, let it rehydrate, and ate it. When I washed the bag out in hot water and dish detergent later, it refused to reseal and hold in the soapy water. I scrubbed it out, allowed it to dry, and put it away.
I still plan on using Aloksak bags for food storage (odorproof), but I think I’ll go back to Hefty freezer zips for “cooking”. Had I not had the bag in my envelope “cozy”, I probably would have lost my dinner before I got a chance to eat it.
