I created this spread sheet to compare sleeping bags which (with all the options) can be quite overwhelming without some type of organized list.

Feel free to add to it if you like. So far the list contains over sixty Mens 30+ degree down bags including weight, retail cost, fill rating, url and more.

If you add to the list please save a backup copy when you are finished. This may avoid losing the entire list should someone try to delete or ruin it.

Google SpreadSheet

If you edit the list please post a short reply here.

I updated the list with new retail prices and some new bags that these manufacturers have added. Also changed the weights as specs on some of the bags have changed. Some of the links were out of date as well.

When BPL was wanting member input on how to make this site more user friendly, my recomendation was to have a link to gear that would have a spread sheet just like this for each type of gear. once you clicked on it and selected what piece of gear you wanted to check out, it would have the link to buy it but also have a forum for each peice of gear to talk about it.

Instead of seeing someone new talk about pieces of gear over and over again, they would have the insight right there about anything imaginable. If they don't have the answer there they would discuss it on the link and it would be there for the next person. There could also be BPL member reviews on these gear lists and BPL Staff reviews.

Great list btw.

Updated the spreadsheet with some Macpac sleeping bags from New Zealand. Fabric used is Pertex Quantum, down is rated at 800+ fillpower (European rating, which tends to rate down lower than the US rating). Currently on sale too with 30-40% off if you are interested.
