BPL Cocoon Hoody Sizing

I was just checking the BPL Cocoon Hoody sizing and got confused. My chest measurement (38″) wouldn’t even place me on the BPL chart. Heck, if i used my shoulder measurement I’d just barly sneak into the XS size. Are these sized up for layering purposes? What gives?

That must be the actual size of the garment, not the size of the wearer….those measurements would be appropriate for a bodybuilder!

Look at the chart on the bottom of that page.

Thanks, You drew my attention the the note at the bottom of the page:

"*Note – Backpacking Light denotes garment measurements which will always be larger than your body measurements."

Yes, please note those measurements are garment as noted by Trevor.
