To start I have no understanding of the technical side of any photography equipment so when I read on-line that the Flip has 720p HD and the Canon s95 has the same yet the Canon takes still shots too why would I consider the Flip at all? What am I missing? Thanks.
Big price difference.
The Canon S95 is primarily a still camera which can also shoot video clips, and it offers a fair amount of user control. Flip is a fairly cheap video camera.
There are many, many features that are different.
