I have been spending a lot of time on gear over the last few months (sewing, planning, reading, posting, etc.) and have reduced my load by a few ounces.
Unfortunately this gear time replaced some of my more active pursuits (gardening, home repair, etc.) and I have gained about 6 pounds of body fat.
I blame MYOG, BPL, this Forum, new fabrics like Cuben and M50, carbon fiber poles, etc.
My wife says I should blame myself.
