I have a lot of experience with the Trangia stove. I have 2 different versions of the Trangia 27 series. 12 years ago I got a DUOSSAL or dual stainless steel and aluminum version which is quite heavy. It got me through many camping trips without a hickup. It is flawless, but heavy. It took me throughout Europe for months, and even deep friend Croquettes in Holland… That was AWESOME!
Recently I picked up (2 years ago) the new ULHA or Ultralight Hard Anodized version of the 27-1 and made a video. I love it… it is a really trust worth companion. Here is my review.

But I am a little bit beyond that in the realm of UL stuff now. I have a Caldera Cone. HOWEVER, I still to this day faithfully use the Trangia burner as my main alcohol burner. It is SOOOO versatile. But not Ultralight in comparison to some of the stoves here on BPL. Here is a video I recently made for my thru-hike of the AT.

Does that help?
